Project week

for school classes

Location:
Zukunftslabor
Klosterstrasse 40, 5432 Wettingen
By appointment

During this immersive project week, we explore art and artists in the Limmattal region while also engaging in our own creative processes. The project weeks for school classes have been developed in collaboration with the Zukunftslabor association and are supported by the cantonal funding programs Kultur macht Schule and Schule und Kultur. We take excursions to ART FLOW projects, visit artists in their studios, and work creatively in the inspiring spaces of the Zukunftslabor, transforming our impressions into our own artistic expressions.

Target groups:

4th – 6th grade primary school, 1st – 3rd grade secondary school, high schools

Contributors:

Petra Winiger Østrup (ART FLOW), Urs Dätwiler, Simona Hofmann, Friederike Vinzenz (Zukunftslabor)

Feedback of the teachers

«The project week with ART FLOW and Zukunftslabor was an extraordinary and inspiring experience for our class. The opportunity to work outside the classroom and meet fascinating personalities like Michel Comte was particularly exciting for the students. The project Timeless Time encouraged their creativity and sparked noticeable development. The entire week was excellently organized, requiring minimal effort on my part as a teacher. The professional guidance and inspiring atmosphere made this week a full success. I can highly recommend this format.» (Géraldine Eliasson,
Class Teacher R3A, Schule Neuenhof)

«The project week with ART FLOW and Zukunftslabor was an enriching and multifaceted experience for our class. The herbal workshop and the visit to the Emma Kunz Center, where the children discovered their personal power spots, left a lasting impression. Another highlight was the studio visit with Beat Zoderer. The children explored new artistic forms of expression and surpassed themselves in a performance. The week was filled with inspiring encounters and creative challenges. Even today, the students enthusiastically recall the final exhibition, where they proudly presented their works to their families. This format is a valuable addition to the school curriculum and absolutely recommendable.»
