​“Tim­e­l­ess Time” marks the 15th pro­ject of the gro­wing exhi­bi­tion series ART FLOW – Art in the Limmat Valley. Bern­hard Meier, an artist ori­gi­nally from Würen­los, has deve­lo­ped an inter­ven­tion for the tower of the Roman Catho­lic Church in his home­town — visi­ble from afar.

The work con­sists of a gold-pain­ted metal circle, mea­su­ring appro­xi­m­ately five meters in dia­me­ter, moun­ted on the church tower just below the clock. The circle allu­des to the essen­tial ques­ti­ons of human exis­tence: beco­ming, being, pas­sing — and eter­nity.
